Our pride & joy

Among all the hustle and bustle of Kevin’s home being extended and renovated, we managed to wiggle our way in. A few sheets of plywood, a recycled garden shed (the timber of which served as a skeleton for our boxes), and gifted pots of ecological grey and green paints from our friends at Graphenstone, got us going. The lettering was carefully hand-painted by my sister Zuzi, who has a small textile business in Meanwood, and the bicycle was serviced by a good friend of Kev’s , to withstand the added pressure of the trailer. As we mentioned before, the trailer itself came from the Leeds Bike Mill, where a really talented chap called Ben helped us install it.

As happy as we are with the final result of our work, what we mainly take away from this experience is that being surrounded by people who are willing to give a helping hand is absolutely priceless. We count ourselves lucky. :)

Keep it green!
